Carolina Creates is UNC's Incubator for Student Creativity. Our mission is to foster innovative creation on campus by providing the resources needed to make ideas happen. We want to build a collaborative community of innovators, leaders, thinkers, and doers.
We are Carolina’s Maker Network, and our goal is to create a network of makers: people interested in making, well, anything! We bring together people interested in art, philosophy, computer science, biomedical engineering, and pretty much any major here at UNC, and connect them with the resources needed to imagine, design, and create.
By combining classroom knowledge with the resources made available to us on campus, we aim to grow awareness behind the importance of entrepreneurship to students from all backgrounds. Carolina THINK shows students that everyone has the potential of becoming an entrepreneur.

Feelin’ DNA seeks to inspire visually impaired students and their teachers by providing tactile learning tools for STEM subjects. Our team is working to translate those images into 3-D models with simplified shapes and tactile cues that facilitate learning for visually impaired students as well as their peers. Through collaboration with educators, students, and scientists we are creating a repository of models that will supplement the current learning environment.
