Two 1789 Ventures Selected for Launch Chapel Hill
Launch Chapel Hill just announced the seven companies selected to join its six-month accelerator program. Two of these startups began their journey at 1789 and we are proud to have played a role in their success. Trill Financial and Waterless Buddy's will spend 22 weeks in the Launch program, where they will have access to the resources and mentorship that will allow them to grow.
Trill Financial, founded by Simon Jung and Akash Ganapathi, uses stock analysis software based on predictive analytics to manage client's portfolios in a more cost effective way than with an external manager.
Waterless Buddy's is a mobile waterless carwash that was originally founded by Austin Helms and Randy Short and has since grown to a team of six. Buddy’s allows customers to schedule washes through its website, and will open to the public this fall at University Place in Chapel Hill.
Congratulations to both startup teams!
